Look What You Missed!
Well Ladies, If I have to say so myself,
2010 was a great success. I've had many
cards and e-mails that agree.
Renting the Tole Bridge in Norco proved to
be a great idea. My committee and I found
things that we will change for next year but
all things considered we all had a great
time.
We even have some ideas for next year's
paintings.
BUT the calendar is giving us a curve in
2011. Our standard "first weekend in May"
will be Mother's Day in 2011. So our
seminar will not be until May 13, 14 & 15!
Set your calendars and start saving your
quarters.

I've gotten quite a bit of feed back this year regarding the projects. Ladies
want to paint things that they are not so good at doing. In our setting painters
get more attention from Brenda and they want to expand on these areas.
Ocean water with light shinning through, Mountains, Waterfalls.
Jennie Wetmore went to Hawaii recently and has a wonderful waterfall photo.
Brenda helped tweak a painting that we had started in my class. Her magic
touch. Everyone that has seen it loves it and it fits one of our inquires. I will try
to show it to you below but it will have to be redone on a square canvas. I will
also try to include other paintings that I think will also fit. We have almost an
entire year. I'm looking forward to your feedback. Brenda's schedule is very
tight this coming year and I'd like to try and choose a current painting rather
than to have her paint something special for us. E mail me at
